Today, it is known for record-breaking rides like The Voyage, one of the world's longest wooden roller coasters, and Mammoth, the world's longest water coaster.
The Santa Claus Museum & Village offers visitors a glimpse into the town's rich history. The museum showcases artifacts and exhibits detailing the evolution of Santa Claus, Indiana. Notably, the original post office and a historic church have been relocated to the museum grounds, preserving the town's heritage.
Each holiday season, the town receives thousands of letters addressed to Santa Claus. A group of dedicated volunteers, known as Santa's Elves, ensures each letter receives a personalized response, continuing a tradition that has endured for over a century.
